These are the people responsible for the advertising, marketing and sales of EW’s magazines, books, websites and other media. Several faces should be recognizable by the industry, because they travel to trade shows and meetings, but others may only be known as voices on the telephone or names in e-mail addresses. EESF Annual Meeting
In its May 2008 issue, EW reports on the annual meeting of the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF), which was recently held in Atlanta. High-Speed Moving Walk in Toronto’s Airport

High-Rise Lego® Elevator
An anonymous engineer submitted the latest elevator made from the Lego Elevator Model Building Set, which was featured in the Last Glance of May’s EW. It incorporates an overheard-machine arrangement and stands nearly 30 inches high. To view a video of the miniature engineering feat, click here.
