So the past few days have been full of meetings, industry networking and presentations. But, make no mistake, this year’s forum enjoyed many good times. On Tuesday (April 30), which also happened to be your reporter’s birthday, the group went to Knibbe Ranch for the evening. I had the pleasure of having the entire forum sing me “Happy Birthday” near a camp fire; it was very nice. I tell you, the elevator industry knows how to conduct serious business and indulge in good times. I don’t want to spoil anything by providing too much information before I write the story, so I have just included a picture of myself sitting on a very large Texas longhorn. They dared me to. Only kidding, it was fun, and the longhorn was very gentle. The picture is a bit blurry, my apologies.
Now, on to something more elevator related. I took a few pictures of the elevators in the hotel IAEC 2013 was held at. The elevators appear to be Schindler equipment.
