MANDIGO TAPPED TO LEAD LERCH BATES’ FLORIDA MARKET
Lerch Bates Inc. has named John Mandigo project manager, Elevator Consulting Group. Based in Miami, Mandigo will provide vertical-transportation consulting for projects throughout Florida. He has 13 years of industry experience, most recently serving as manager of Modernization and New Construction for ThyssenKrupp Elevator in northern Florida. In this role, he led projects including a 16-elevator modernization of Tampa’s Bank of America Plaza. While serving as Modernization manager and Thermodynamics Sales engineer at Otis, he helped implement a US$52-million retrofit of the elevator system at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

ORIENTAL, SHANGHAI EDUNBURGH PARTNER
Oriental (Chinese) Klc Holdings Ltd. and Shanghai Edunburgh Elevator Group, one of the country’s largest elevator manufacturers, recently signed a cooperation agreement, the Shanghai Elevator Trade Association reported. Shanghai Edunburgh will provide Oriental with its elevator equipment for the contract’s duration as it promotes communication and cooperation between the companies. Oriental will provide its wireless-monitoring building/facility technology to Shanghai Edunburgh.

MAN-D-TEC LAUNCHES UPDATED WEBSITE
Man-D-Tec has recently redesigned its website to include a “Lighting Design Studio,” allowing users to plan and print lighting configurations for their elevators. Additionally, the page includes product specifications, videos of product features and a photo gallery of Man-D-Tec products in the field.
